报告题目:Closure for {K_{1,4},K_{1,4}+e}-free graphs

 

报告简介:

In 1986, Thomassen presented a conjecture: Every 4-connected line graph is Hamilonian. In 1984, Mattews-Sumner also presented a weak conjecture: Every 4-connected claw-free graph is Hamiltoian. In 1997, Ryjacek invented a closure on claw-free graphs and proved that these two conjectures are equivalent. Since then, many results on claw-free graphs have been made by using Ryjacek closure method.

In this talk, I will first brief the progress on Thomassen conjecture. Then I will introduce a closure on {K_{1,4},K_{1,4}+e}-free graphs.  As applications, many results on claw-free graphs can be extended to the class of {K_{1,4},K_{1,4}+e}-free graphs. This is a joint work with Zdenek Ryjacek and Petr Vrana.

 

报告人:王世鹏,江苏大学,主要研究图论和组合数学,在图的圈方面做出很多出色的工作。在 Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B, Electroinc Journal of Combunatorics, Discrete Mathematics, Graphs and Combinatorics等国际知名图论期刊上发表论文多篇。
