Biography:

 

I have always been fascinated by the cosmos. During my graduation course, I heard about the late-time cosmic acceleration problem and I have been intrigued with it since then. My master’s degree gave me the opportunity to study our theory of gravitation closely. My dissertation about classical and quantum effects near a rotating black hole, openned my mind for a deeper understanding of general relativity. After that I moved to Sao Paulo and started my PhD studies in cosmology. Although my initial formation was theoretical, I have been comming closer to real observations, especially using data analysis to make forecasts and put constraints in our theoretical models. In 2016, I spent one year at the University of Manchester working with 21-cm Intensity Mapping. Nowadays, I participate of two international collaborations to map the universe and study the late-time cosmic acceleration: J-PAS and BINGO.
